WELCOME!
So you’re heading down to The Kentucky Speedway and you don’t know where to turn for trustworthy information. Well you do now.
My name is Marc Carey. Welcome to my little neck of the woods.
I have been living on a farm three miles from the new Speedway for over 25 years, and I’ve been a season ticket holder since the beginning.
After the inaugural event on July 9th and all of the mess I saw, I just knew that I had to do something.
I’m from Kentucky, this is my community and by golly that’s just not the way we treat company.
So I started this website for all of you.
I plan for it to be THE SOURCE for all of the thousands of visitors who come here, a place where you can get up to date information about traffic patterns, by-passes, off site parking opportunities and camping around the track, as well as all the other information you might need or want to make your trip better.
Oh, and excuse my French, but I’m gonna call “BS” on any claims out there that I think are rip-offs or at the very least, tell you the insider story so you can decide for yourself whether you’d rather have a real campground or sleep in a cow pasture.
I hope I can help, in my own little way, to make your visit to Kentucky and the Kentucky Speedway in my back yard easier, more enjoyable and less stressful.
It’s the least I can do.
Afterall, I’m a Kentuckian, and we treat our visitors like family around these parts.
Thank you for visiting this website and be sure to keep checking back often for more updates and for helpful information as we add new things all the time.
Sincerely,
Marcus Carey
